AQ-4030 Aquarium RO Water Filter System – 3 Stage
The AQ-4030 three-stage reverse osmosis system is a step up from our AQ-4020 RO system. The 1-micron filter cartridge protects the reverse osmosis membrane and improves water quality by removing sediment, insoluble iron and other solids that can foul the RO membrane. The 5-micron activated carbon block adds a second layer of protection by removing chlorine, chloramine and organic chemicals. The thin film composite (TFC) reverse osmosis membrane removes algae-promoting phosphates and silicates along with nitrates. The pressure gauge indicates when the system is clogged and requires new cartridges. The AQ-4030 greatly improves the water quality in your aquarium by removing contaminants, like silicate and phosphate, that cause algae growth. Your fish and invertebrates are protected from chlorine and chloramine by the high-efficiency activated carbon block cartridge. The quick connect hose fitting makes it easy to hook up the filter to virtually any water supply. Replacement 5-micron sediment filters, 5-micron activated carbon pre-filters and TFC reverse osmosis membranes are available.
